Country Partners Cooperative is a full-service diversified agricultural cooperative in central Nebraska located in 20 communities, partnering with farmers and ranchers to accomplish more together.

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

The Convenience Store Manager is responsible for the following, (but not limited to): day-to-day store operations, scheduling, training and supervising employees, maintaining appropriate staff, ensuring proper housekeeping & maintenance procedures are followed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates all store activities in a manner that maximizes sales, profits, and customer satisfaction.

• Supervises the interviewing, selections, hiring, and training of all associates.
• Maintains a high level of customer service by ensuring that service standards are high.
• Supervises freight process and ensures all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed in a safe manner.
• Complete daily paperwork and computer entry in a timely manner.
• Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive offs daily.
• Maintains and promotes safety awareness, follows safety policies, procedures and reporting requirements.
• Manages payroll and controllable expenses.
• Follow and enforce all company policies and established procedures in the store operations.
• Report and process all employee and/or customer incidents or accidents following company procedure.
• Maintains a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative.
• Responsible for maintaining clean facilities and complying with all state and federal regulations pertaining to a safe workplace, housekeeping, and all activities that require regulation compliance.
• Presents a clean and professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises store staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good judgement with the ability to make prompt and sound decisions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Previous manager and supervisory experience preferred.
